Our GREENWOOD ®  bags are made of natural leather from cattle. All our leather used is a by-product of the meat industry, which would have to be disposed off, if it were not reused by leather production. No animal must die for leather production. 

Natural leather is an absolutely sustainable and endlessly renewable product. It is far more environment friendly than the so-called artificial leather(Vegan leather) or PU Leather, which in reality consists of highly toxic plastic. Once synthetic leather is decayed into synthetic microparticles, these are absorbed by animals in the worst case and are thus placed in the human food chain. Natural leather, however, is virtually completely biodegradable. Our every handcrafted product is made from Natural Leather - THE PRODUCT OF NATURE.
